This project was commissioned by Essex County Council and Focal Point Gallery in Southend. For this third part of the "Trespass" series, I came outside again and looked at the English county of Essex as a gateway into England. One that has been guarded over the centuries to prevent foreigners from getting into London, the heart of the country.
I juxtaposed images of travel and transport against images about South Asian life both in England and India that I felt had some relation to each other.
The first showing of this work took place at Focal Point Gallery, Southend.
