This project was made for an exhibition entitled "They Call it Love" curated by Frank Wagner for NGBK, Berlin.
I saw it as the second chapter of the "Trespass" series and came indoors to locate in our kitchen. It was about how the makeover of our kitchen by a third party led to the eventual demise of our relationship.
The gay, asian iconography continued and the project was trying to show how a domestic space might also be a contested cultural site.
The making of the work was funded by a grant from the then London Arts Board.
