I returned in the early 1980s to Delhi and took these photos of a walk through in my 1960s childhood cruising grounds in my neighbourhood. The pictures start in the lane behind our home and then come around to the front of the building in East Nizamuddin in the very last row of houses beyond which there was a railway line and a ring road and fields stretching out towards UP and the river Yamuna where we swam. But in the wasteland just behind Humayun's Tomb and within the tomb walls we found a perfect playground to discover our sexualities.
